New league season upon us

Not quite sure where the summer months have gone but probably washed away with the summer.

The pre league season friendlies are now behind all of us - bar the second XI whose Saturday apponents OKs have dropped out of their league - and so now to the serious stuff. The club day was well supported and there have been some new and younger faces around TD. Great to have had Paddy Harman playing for us in the last 2 games although with his leaving school last year it soon became evident I am older than his parents...

The thorny subject of subs is upon us so can you please ensure subs are paid post haste with there being an incentive of £100.00 off if paid by the end of October leaving the rate at £275.00 instead of £375.00 including a white away shirt.

My mission this year is to have the 100 club ( Expanding members )run effectively and already a few of you have signed up but the more of you who do ther greater the prizes you can win.

Hopefully this time next week the web site will be showing a positive start for all teams who are playing in their leagues and with no reports of ill temper on the pitch.
