Summer baby boom

It’s been a busy summer on the baby front. First off the blocks was Helen Hawes (click here for more) but in the last few weeks there has been a positive spurt of new arrivals.

First off the block were Tonya and Tony Norris, with Barnaby Anthony Storm (yes, Storm) splashing down on July 27.

On August 11, Olivia May was born to Jon and Joanna Heard, and then three days later Jackie Waite gave birth to Darcie Elizabeth.

Congratulations to all concerned and apologies for any omissions.

Zac Hawes arrives on the scene

Helen and Nigel Hawes (well, Nigel did the hard bit) are delighted to announce the arrival of an 8lb baby son called Zachariah (Zac) Stanley Hawes. "For those that don't know he arrived at 2.15am on 15th June after 28hrs of labour," said Helen. "A bit tiring for all!"

Another daughter for Davies

The first (of many) babies of the close season has been announced by Christian Davies.

"Charlotte Alexandra Zara Davies was born on Friday morning at 1.40am weighing in at 8lbs. Both mother and daughter are doing well and both at home. Father still in shock and off to buy another shotgun!"

Baby Davies arrives!

Many congratulations to Christian and Kathryn Davies on the birth of a daughter at 10.41am Friday, April 6, weighting in at 7lbs 7ozs. Both mother and daughter are fine, although the father is in a state of shock. Rather appropriately, the young lady arrived on what would have been the first morning of the Worthing Hockey Festival, an event so close to Davies’s heart.

New Hamm

Congratulations to Mark and Snoopy Hamms on the birth of their second child, an as yet unnamed boy who weighed in at 8lbs 3ozs

Martha Hope Khurshid

Congratulations to Dodie and Lydia Khurshid on the birth of the third child, Martha Hope, on February 26. The latest addition to the 2024 Ladies XI weighed in dead on 8lbs.
