All Stars to play on virgin pitch
The first match on the new Astroturf will take place at 11.30am on June 10 when an All Stars XI, featuring many names from yesteryear such as Tim Green and Chris Cater-Keal, take on Barnes Beerbarians. Wade Pollard is organising and there will be a BBQ afterwards and, crucially, the bar is open throughout.

Went down to the pitch on Sunday. Tried it out for a few moments and was dismayed to see the pitch having such a detrimental effect on my stopping, hitting and general ball controls.
Its a big worry!!!
