Profile
Everyone who knows Tristan will be aware of the enormous transition that he has undergone since leaving school. Not only did his physical appearance render him almost unrecognisable but on the cricketing front he has developed from being a promising allrounder (this isn't the time for facile puns) to a batsman who can and has scored OC hundreds. In his school years he was labelled a "playboy" by the great Clem Williams. This was a tag that couldn't really be disputed. There was binge drinking and loose women every weekend and Clem rightly thought this was hindering Tristan's development. In fairness to Tristan he often punched above his weight in the female department - succeeding where a skinny, rodent-like schoolboy had no right to succeed. However, punching above his weight nowadays would mean pulling Dawn French. He is now a much more mature package with a stable job and not quite the volume of women. He will be relied upon to score top order runs and keep team morale up. He talks a fantastic game, but at school he spent four years in the 1st XI "fielding at long leg", never making a fifty or bowling. His career culminated in a tour to South Africa where he made no runs in four innings and rowed with an umpire.
