Tikolo to lead Kenya in match on Jubilee

The full Kenya side, captained by Steve Tikolo and featuring ICC Associate Player of the Year Collins Obuya, will play a side captained by former Kenya wicketkeeper Abeed Janmohamed at Cranleigh on July 23.

The match is part of Kenya’s European tour during which time they will play in the ICC World Twenty20 Qualifiers in Belfast as well as several one-day internationals and two matches in the ICC Intercontinental Cup. The team will be based at Cranleigh School for a week at the end of July.

Janmohamed in picking his side at the moment but several Cranleighans are expected to feature, including Seren Waters, the current school captain and the son of David Waters, who was Kenya’s head of selection until he resigned earlier this year to take up an appointment at the school.
